Dr. Rosemeire Santos-Teachout, DDS, MS
åHello there! I'm Rosemeire Santos-Teachout DDS, MS, and I'm committed to delivering the highest quality of care to each and every one of my patients here at Dansville Family Dental Care. As this practice's full-time dentist and manager, I see a number of people who are dealing with a variety of dental concerns. But whatever brings you to see us, I promise to do my best to explain all your treatment options and ease any fears you may have.
I also make time to serve as a part-time clinical instructor for the developmentally disabled dental clinic that's located at Monroe Community Hospital. My services are offered through the Eastman Department of Dentistry at the University of Rochester. I'm delighted to have the opportunity to work with this esteemed school and these wonderful patients.
I live in Dansville with my husband, Brian, who is also the operations manager for Dansville Family Dental Care. I was born in Brazil, but am proud to be able to say that I'm now an American citizen.
Ms. Christina Hancock, Hygienist
My name is Christina and I have been a dental hygienist for 16 years and have worked for Dr. Teachout last 9 years. I earned my hygiene degree at the University of South Dakota. I have worked in general dental practices in Rapid City, SD, Minneapolis, MN, and Hornell, NY. I have also worked in a periodontal practice in Minneapolis, MN. I love being a hygienist and find it rewarding working with people, educating and helping them with their oral health. I am originally from Hornell, NY, but grew up a military "brat.' I have lived in various places, including Florida, the Carolinas, South Dakota, and the United Kingdom. My hobbies include reading, traveling, and scrapbooking. I appreciate Dr. Teachouts vision of her practice as having quality dentistry in a caring environment. That's what dentistry should be about.
Mr. Brian Teachout, Operations Manager
Hello, I'm Brian Teachout the Doctor's husband. I have lived in Dansville all my life except for my college years. My parents and grandparents are also from Dansville. Rose and I met thru a mutual friend and my life has not been the same from that day on (In a very wonderful way!). Rose and I were married in Oct. of 1999 and I/we were blessed that she wanted to make Dansville her home also. We started this practice in July of 2001, it was one of the best experiences, learning about all the Dental techniques, equipment, construction and the technology!. During the Day (for the last Twenty One years) I head up the Product Engineering Department. At a company in Scottsville, as well as our Document Control Dept. I have been in management for many years now and I believe it has been a great background for running the administrative parts of this office. Some of my duties are; All business related items, paying the bills, Payroll, the maintaining of and set-up of the computers/software/digital imagery, etc., mechanical maintenance (Cindy's husband Mike helps out also), advertising, donations, etc. We really have great people working here, finding the right people is not easy. We are very selective as to who works here for many reasons, but mainly to make sure your visit is the best experience you have ever had in a Dental Office. I tend to ramble, so to finish up, I can tell you one thing. You will love my wife, not only is she very educated in her profession, she is a very real person, and that's what you will get, a real genuine nice person who knows what she is doing. She would never tell you but check out "About Dr. Teachout" section. She is known around the world for her expertise in caring for the Developmentally Disabled. Ms. Denise Guy, Hygienist
My name is Denise, and I joined Dansville Family Dental Care in June 2012. I have been a registered dental hygienist for many years having earned my degree from Monroe Community College. I also maintain my license in local anesthetics and nitrous oxide administration. I enjoy getting to know my patients while providing the best possible comfortable care. I am thrilled to be part of a team that offers the highest quality dental care in a progressive, state of the art office.

Ms. Cindy Cartella, Office Manager
Hi! My name is Cindy. I’ve been Dr. Teachout’s office manager since the opening of the practice here in Dansville. I am a native of Hornell, NY and my dental career has spanned many years beginning with volunteering with the US Air Force Dental Services, chairside assisting, Financial Officer and Office Management for the past 18 years. I feel fortunate to work in such a great practice. Not only is Dr. Teachout and my co-worker's such great people, but we have such wonderful patients. We strive to make coming to the dentist a pleasant experience and hopefully play an important part in the lives of our dental patients.

My Name is Terry. I am a Certified Dental Assistant and have been with Dr. Teachout for 5 1/2 years. I love my career as it is always very interesting. In my spare time, I enjoy jewelry making, gardening, and spending time with my family, especially my grandson.
Serving Dansville Families
Our local family practice was first established in 2001 as a private dental office at 201 Main St. While our first years there were full of fond memories, our dream was to have our own building. With the help of Main Street Revitalization Programs, in January 2013 our dream became a reality. Our new office at 191 Main St. is situated in the restored historical corner building at the intersection of Main and Ossian. We are thrilled to be able to host our private practice in this special building, included in the National Registry of Historic Places.
